After much procrastinating I finally bought the materials for the Courtyard deck (2700l x 4600 width) a small deck. and the 2 side gates. All up costing $2000 excluding the metal gate frames which will be made to size.Think they will be $300 The gates will be double with Merabu screening with a little side fence on the left of the gate.( that's the largest gate) and the smaller single gate will be Merabu screening with colour bond posts to match the fence colour.
My ex owes me a huge favour ( for all the grief hes given me lol well yeah )so he and my son are going to build the deck and put the gates in. Biting my nails as i say this.
So far in the pics the posts have been concreted in for the gates and the decking frame is nearly finished, It would have been finished if my ex hadn't put a hole in my water pipe while digging one of the holes for the deck post grrrrrr. Ever been without water on a weekend????? well that's what happened $200 bucks later for a plumber to come out and fix the pipe.
I'm soooo proud of my son who is learning carpentry at Tafe. He put most of the deck up.
So hopefully when the weather fines up all will be completed.

Hi clath.. Your deck looks like it's coming along great! Hopefully will be finished soon without any more mis-haps.. hee hee. Your side garden path looks good as well.. we were thinking of going along those lines down that side as well but werent too sure what it would look like, but yours looks great!
